Baby Bird Leaves the Nest

Hi Folks,

The time has come. My little baby bird is ready to leave the nest.

My surface pattern designs now have their own home: Annie C Designs.

Annie C Designs | Webster Fiber Arts

In reality, these two aspects of my creative life probably should have been separate from the beginning. Initially, I was designing for fabric, so the surface pattern designs kind of fit with “fiber arts,” but I am increasingly finding it hard to promote telephone cases and journals under my Webster Fiber Arts accounts. So, off they go, to grow and thrive on their own.

I’ve spent the last few weeks copying blog posts from this site to Annie C Designs, and setting up social media accounts. Those accounts are looking pretty sad at the moment because they are brand new, but they are here:

Facebook: facebook.com/AnnieCDesigns

Twitter: @AnnieCDesigns

Instagram: @anniecdesigns

So, if you are a fan of the surface pattern designs, head on over the to Annie C Designs. If you are into the fiber art, that will continue here at Webster Fiber Arts. And if you like both, you should follow both (and I will think you are awesome)!

Until next time,
Annie

  1. I use Spoonflower.com. They have several different fabrics to print on (I use basic or Kona cotton most often). I think their upload process is easy and their customer service is great!
