Two New Handmade Pieces

Hi folks,

I have two new pieces for you today! The first is this scarf, called Forest Flutter:

I got this yarn because I thought it was called “Ozark Forest.” I spent my youth in the Ozarks, so it seemed like it was meant to be. When the yarn arrived, I discovered it was called “Ozarka Forest.” Not quite the same, but still a very pretty, earthy yarn. I crocheted lots of ruffles and frills into this one to make it full and fluffy.

My other piece is the Recovery Shawl:

I love the colors in this yarn. It reminds me of the couch my grandparents had when I was little, though this yarn is much more vibrant and pretty. I worked on this one while my mom was recovering from knee replacement surgery this summer, which is where the name comes from.

Both pieces are available in my Etsy shop.

Until next time,
Annie
